Tinapayan Iloilo – Chocolate Festival 2012
Once again Tinapayan celebrates Chocolate Festival this year with delightfully sinful chocolate treats. Be on the lookout for these wonderful desserts that would be release at Tinapayan for a limited time only.
Banoffee Pie
Banoffee pie is definitely one of Tinapayan’s unique dessert. The crushed graham crackers pie crust doesn’t crumble apart when sliced. The banana layer is deliously coated with chocolate ganache and creamy caramel layer. The dessert is topped with whipped cream, chocolate chip bits and glazed banana slices.
Caramel Torte
The chiffon cake has this soft texture and the creamy caramel layer just makes it even more mouth watering. I just adore the icing flowerettes, at first glace I was expecting a hard royal icing but to my surprise it was soft.
Choco Hazelnut Torte
This torte cake is made up of hazelnut mouse and chocolate fudge cake. It is then covered with rich chocolate ganache. The top is meticulously decorated with soft floral icing. At first bite, I was amazed at the rich chocolate fudge layer and this one is one of my favorite among the set.
Choco Reese’s Crumble Torte
This one is definitely my favorite among the set. With its moist rich chocolate fudge layer and peanut butter caramel mouse layers, who can resist this one. At first bite it has instantly sent me to choco nirvana. You can say that this is the cake incarnate of Reese’s.
Choco Blueberry Bars
Rich chocolate fudge topped with blueberry mouse and white chocolate layer topped with whipped cream. This one has real blueberry bits in it.
Choco Hazelnut Bars
Chewy butterscotch topped with chocolate and hazelnut. This one make perfect combo without overpowering taste of chocolate ganache.
Choco Mango Bars
Rich chocolate fudge is topped with mango mouse with real mango bits and topped with chocolate ganache.
Smor’s Bars
Chocolate fudge bar topped with marshmallow and white chocolate drizzle. Among the set this one doesn’t have much impact compared to the others. I guess it needs something to make it’s taste distinctive like caramel or ganache perhaps?
