Samurai Talabahan at Diversion Road Iloilo

Normally, I usually go to Allan’s Talabahan to get my fix of their baked talaba. But since I heard about Samurai’s talabahan, I find myself frequenting the place. A lot of times the waitress would ask me, “Baked talaba?” and I would just nod. There are times when I would indulged in Baked scallops, steamed talaba and spicy baked talaba. There’s also variety of fishes such as lapu-lapu, Managat and etc cooked the way you like it whether grilled or “Sinabawan” (soup). Chicken and pork barbecues are also available for BBQ lovers.
Let’s talk about the food. Samurai’s Baked talaba is creamy, buttery and salty. I brought few of my friends here and those who have aversions to talaba loved the baked incarnate of it. I also love the baked buttery scallops and one plate isn’t enough for me. The spicy baked talaba is my current favorite. The mild spicy taste plays in my mouth courtesy of chopped bell papers with roasted garlic. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.
Samurai Talabahan is a perfect alternative seafood restaurant for those living in the city. The prices on the menu are reasonable. The ambience of the restaurant is clean, cozy and quiet. It’s definitely a step up from the usual talabahan with videoke machines and pebbled floors.

At first, one may find it difficult to spot Samurai Talabahan since it’s located at the back of Samurai Motors. One may have the impression that it sells cars instead of talabahan. Plus, it quite near Smallville. In case you have limited funds, you can have dinner there before hitting the dance floors.

Great post. But Just to correct a slight typo-error: bell peppers not bell papers.
