Georgetown Literary Festival (GTLF)
Georgetown Literary Festival was initiated in 2011 by the Penang state government itself. Since then, it has become as one of Malaysia’s pre eminent literary festival. The person behind this Georgetown Literary Festival is Bernice Chauly who is a renowned author, poet and also an educator in Malaysia’s literary scene for six out of its seven editions it was organized. The best thing about Georgetown Literary Festival is that it was shortlisted for the International Excellence Award for Literary Festival by the London Book Fair.
Short Sweet Festival
Takes place consecutively at Kuala Lumpur Performing Art Centre and also Penang Art Centre, Short Sweet Festival comprises many attractive performances that lasts for 10 minutes duration.
