Ma-ao is surrounded by lush forest on its hillsides which has mountain resorts. Visitors can stay over the Buenos Aires Mountain resort and enjoy the view. The guests can take a dip at the Kipot Twin Falls.

 

Ma-ao Negros Tourist Spots

Buenos Aires Mountain Resort - This mountain resort was built in the 1930′s. President Manuel Quezon stayed in this resort when he hid from the Japanese soldiers during World War II.

Kipot Summer Resort - The neighboring resort of Buenos Aires. The resort got its name from the nearby Kipot Twin Falls. With its quaint native nipa cottages, guests should make reservations few days prior and bring their own food supplies.

 

Ma-ao Negros Travel Guide

Travelling to Ma-ao is 1 1/2 ride from Bacolod via jeepney. Tricycles can bring take visitors from Ma-ao to the Mountain resorts.
