La Carlota Festivals
The annual Kabankalan Sinulog is a street party that’s held every second Sunday of January. Like Dinagyang, the dancers will paint themselves black to mimick the aetas. Feast is held in honor of Sto. Nino or child Jesus.
Pasalamat Festival or Festival of Lights is held every 1st of May. The three day festival is also considered as thanksgiving for the bountiful harvest. A mardi gras celebration as well as beautiful parade floats decorates the town.
La Carlota Tourist Attraction
Church of Our Lady of Peace – is a fortress-style church in La Carlot and considered as one of the finest Romanesque Church in the country.
