Iloilo Samba de Regatta 2010 Dance Competition
Samba de Regatta dance competition has exceeded my expectations. The Mardi Gras competition is also one of the most anticipated event of Paraw Regatta Festival. The participants gave an energetic and breathtaking performance. Each group has their own elaborate floats, colorful props and exquisite costumes. I’m pretty sure the judges had a hard time deciding who’ll be the grand winner for this year’s Samba de Regatta Dance competition. If you missed the competition, you can still watch the final competition on February 21, 2010 at 8am.
The program was about to start when I reached Freedom Grandstand. I was so thankful that I decided to skip dinner. Unfortunately, I managed to get only videos since my camera couldn’t handle fast motion subjects.

Congratulations to Grupo Fuerte Baile for winning the Samba de Regatta 2010! I was actually rooting for Grupo Messa Latinos and Grupo del Oeste to win.
