Iloilo Earthquake – April 30 2010

Iloilo experienced earthquake at around 10:43PM, April 30, 2010. It’s not the exact time since my PC clock isn’t really accurate. I was tinkering my facebook when I felt a strong jolt in the room. It’s around intensity 5 quake for 5 seconds. While it may be a strong quake, it’s nothing compared to Haiti, China and Chile. BTW it’s interesting to see real time updates on facebook. No need to tune in to AM station. I’m so thankful that the quake isn’t strong enough to knock down buildings, houses and etc.

Pangamuyuon ta lng wala aftershock. while it normally happens, hopefully, it’s not alarming…the ground shaking that happened a while ago was not a normal quake i believe. the shaking is terrible though it only lasted less than a minute.

Grabe ang linog… kulba-an ko ba. We are staying in the 2nd floor and our glass door is shaking and making sounds. Abi ko ido ga rampa puerta kay masulod… but then feel ko daw ga shake na pati balay. Dalagan ko panaog. Grabe taghol sang mga ido — they can feel it. Hopefully wala casualties.
