Iloilo Assumption Centennial Grand Procession
Assumption Centennial Grand Procession was held last August 15, 2010 to commemorate Assumption Day. Alumnis from years marched proudly wearing their school uniforms. In fact most of them could still be mistaken as regular high school teens. The weather was certainly in good mood and blessed the afternoon with cloudy sky. The parade went off without a hitch.
I was in fact on my way home when I happened to spot the parade that I couldn’t resist taking some pictures. The overpass near Amigo mall provides great vantage point for taking photos. It was sheer coincidence that Junelle and her little girl was there. So, I ended up joining the parade. For few brief moment, I experienced what it feels to be an Assumptionista.
