Glor’s Broadway Cafe Iloilo
Jane’s Broadway Cafe has been around since 1974. The cafe is also commonly known as Glor’s Broadway cafe. Before the fastfood giants invaded the Iloilo shores, Glor’s hamburgers was a popular snackshop then. Most early generation ilonggos could recall vividly how their parents would often bring them there for a quick snack.
Upon entering the Broadway cafe, the first thing that catches your eye are the framed posters of famous broadway musicals. You can tell that the owner is a broadway enthusiast. There’s posters of Broadway hits such as Les Miserables, Cats, Miss Saigon and even Equus. Most of them are considered as collector’s items with signed autographs of the broadway thespians.
Let’s talk about the burgers. I decided to order their Deluxe burger, despite its affordable price they don’t scrimp on the ingredients. Their burgers are free from msg and other artificial flavorings. You might want to add 3 pesos for add ons which comprises of lettuce, tomato, cucumber and onions. The burger tastes even better with add ons. Their deluxe burger could certainly rival the pricier burgers from other fastfood chains which costs 100 pesos and above.

Can’t believe I could find you online! Tried calling you in NY but believe you must have left for Iloilo. We will be in the Phil. April 6-27 with Bazz…you should see him…he’s now 13! We will fly to Roxas on April 9 and will go to Iloilo, Boracay and Guimaras. Pls email me. Would love to visit you and try the best hamburger in town!
